Who We Are

This site is written and checked by one person: David Chen, Casino Industry Expert. His name is on every page because he is the one who reads the terms, looks up the registers and decides what goes live. He is the name on the byline and the person accountable for what every page says; how the wider testing work is organised is set out on the about page.

The subject is The Phone Casino, a UK-facing brand run by Jumpman Gaming Limited. The job is to turn its published terms, its licence entries and its cashier into plain-English pages you can act on: the welcome offer, payments, games, sign-up and login. This page explains how that work is done and what happens when a page turns out to be wrong.

  • One named author, David Chen, who is accountable for every page.
  • Facts come from primary sources only, and opinions are written as opinions.
  • Mistakes are fixed openly and written into the log further down this page.

Our Verification Protocol

The three dates on every page

The byline at the bottom of each page shows three dates. They answer different questions, so they move at different times.

  • Published

The day the page first went live. It is fixed and never changes, whatever we do to the text afterwards.

  • Updated

The last day the wording of the page actually changed. A new figure, a corrected sentence or an added section moves it. Re-reading without changing anything does not.

  • Checked

The last day the facts on the page were compared with their sources again. If everything still matched, this date moves and Updated stays put.

So a page that shows an old Updated date and a recent Checked date is not neglected. It means we looked again and found nothing to change. We never backdate any of the three.

Where the facts come from

Every factual statement about the casino is traced to one of these, in this order of priority:

  1. The operator's own site: its terms and conditions, its promotion pages and its FAQ.
  2. The UK Gambling Commission public register, where the brand sits under account 39175 with licence 039175-R-319452-025.
  3. The Alderney Gambling Control Commission licensee list, which covers players outside Great Britain.
  4. The live cashier, for the payment methods, the currency and the minimum amounts it really shows.

Review blogs and other affiliate sites are not sources, even when several of them agree. Agreement between copies of the same claim proves nothing, and that is how stale numbers travel from site to site.

When a figure is not published

If the operator does not state a number, we write "not published" instead of estimating it or borrowing someone else's guess. A concrete case is the size of the game library: The Phone Casino does not publish a total game count, so you will not find one on this site. A rounded figure would look helpful and would be invented.

Good to know: "not published" is a finding, not a gap. It tells you the operator has not committed to the figure, which is useful when you are deciding how much weight to give it.

How We Correct Mistakes

How this site checks a fact, how a correction is logged and what the three dates mean

We get things wrong sometimes: a term changes, a source is misread, or an old line survives an edit. When that happens the process is the same every time.

  1. We note exactly which sentence or figure is in question and where it came from.
  2. We go back to the primary source and read it again rather than trusting memory or a second-hand summary.
  3. We rewrite the text so that the wrong version does not remain anywhere on the page, including in the FAQ and the structured data.
  4. We move the Updated and Checked dates to the day of the change.
  5. If the error was something a reader could have acted on, we add a line to the log below.

Spelling, layout and wording fixes change nothing a reader could rely on, so they are not logged. A changed offer, licence, payment method, limit or time is always logged.

The same routine applies when the casino changes its own terms. The page is updated to the new wording, both dates move, and the old figure is not left standing next to the new one. If we cannot confirm the new version from a primary source straight away, we say what we could verify and when, instead of guessing.

How We Score a Casino: the Criteria and Their Weights

When we judge a casino, we use six criteria. The weights are set in advance and add up to 100%, so no single strong point can hide a weak one. This page describes the method only and does not score any casino.

CriterionWeightWhat we look at
Licensing and safer gambling25%Whether the licence is on the UK Gambling Commission register, its status and activities, and whether the domain is listed. Also GAMSTOP, deposit and time tools, and how plainly the operator says who runs the site.
Bonus value and terms20%The size of the offer set against wagering, win caps, conversion caps and game contributions. We also check whether the headline matches the small print.
Cashier and payout speed20%Methods available in pounds, minimum deposit, fees, the withdrawal pending period, stated processing times and the identity checks before a first withdrawal.
Game lobby15%The mix of slots, jackpots and live tables, and whether recognisable studios are present. We judge range and quality, not raw totals, because many operators do not publish one.
Mobile experience10%How the browser site behaves on a phone: sign-up, login, the cashier and the game pages at a small screen size.
Support10%Which channels exist, the hours the operator states for them and the response times it promises in its FAQ.

Licensing carries the most weight because everything else depends on it: a generous bonus or a fast cashier means little if the operator is not properly licensed and does not give players safer-gambling tools. Where a criterion rests on a figure that is not published, we score what is stated and say that the rest is not published.

Corrections Log: What We Changed

This is the running record of corrections that changed a fact. Each one was checked against the sources listed above before the page was updated, and the date is the day we changed the page.

DatePageWhat it saidWhat it says now
15 Oct 2026App, Bonuses, Games, Sign UpThe welcome offer was 20 free spins.10 free spins on Big Bass Splash. Only a stale page title on the operator's side still says 20; its banner, promotion page and terms all say 10.

Good to know: every line above was a claim that sounded plausible and was not in the sources. That is the usual shape of an error on a casino page, which is why the pages are checked against the register, the terms and the cashier rather than against other reviews.

Getting In Touch

For anything to do with your account - logging in, a deposit, a withdrawal, identity checks - the right place is the operator's own live chat, which runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. We cannot see or change anyone's account, and only the operator can.

If you think something on this site is wrong, tell us in a way that lets us check it quickly:

  • Name the page and quote the sentence you are questioning.
  • Cite the date shown on that page, so we know which version you read.
  • Say where you saw the different figure, for example a line in the operator's terms or a screen in the cashier.

We will check it against the primary sources. If you are right, the page is fixed, its dates move and the change goes into the log above. If the page already matches the source, we leave it as it is. You can read how the same checks apply to specific topics on the about page and the payments page.

Corrections and Review Process FAQ

What is the difference between the Published, Updated and Checked dates?

Published is the day a page first went live and never changes. Updated moves only when the wording of the page actually changes, while Checked moves whenever we re-verify the facts against their sources, even if nothing needed fixing. A page can therefore show an old Updated date and a recent Checked date at the same time.

What do you do when the casino changes its terms?

We read the new wording on the operator's site, rewrite the affected text so the old figure does not remain anywhere on the page, and move both the Updated and Checked dates. If the change would have misled someone who read the earlier version, it also goes into the corrections log. Where we cannot yet confirm the change, we say what we have verified and when.

How do you handle a reader report of an error?

We treat it as a claim to test, not as a fact. We find the sentence you mean, compare it with the operator's terms, the licence registers and the live cashier, and fix it if the sources agree with you. If the page already matches the sources, we leave it unchanged. Reports work best when they name the page and the date shown on it.

Why does a number sometimes say "not published"?

Because the operator has not stated it anywhere we can check. We would rather leave a gap than print an estimate that looks authoritative, and the total number of games is a good example. Once the operator publishes a figure, we add it and move the dates.

How often are pages re-checked?

Pages are re-verified whenever the operator's terms, offers or licence entries change, and on a regular cycle in between. We do not promise a fixed interval, because a rule that sounds precise can quietly become untrue. The Checked date on each page tells you exactly when it last happened.

Can the casino pay to change a review?

No. The wording of a page, the scoring weights and the corrections log are decided by the author from the sources, and the operator has no say in them. A change is made only when a primary source shows that something on the page is wrong or out of date.
